the education part is just wrong. DC under Rhee reported superior resulsts but a series of articles showed pretty clearly that, Rhee simply faked the test results and once she quit they returned to their trend line.

Lots of good points and narrative in here. But so many claims are [citation needed], and his website lacks those. The education section is like he just read an edtech headline and *problem solved!*

He points out that the $250M Jerry Brown only pays for 1% of the new households needed per year. To pay for all of them, you'd need to raise $25B per year, $20k per household per year (or $2M per if you put it on the 1%.) That is not going to happen.
