I still refuse to utilize the V.A. healthcare, I pay for medical care out of my pocket rather than deal with the lack-luster approach that the V.A. uses with its patients. I have seen friends and colleagues care misdiagnosed, mishandled and passed through a gauntlet of obstacles

Believe me when I say the VA has come a long way since the 1970s. Still a long way to go. I’m still dealing with health care issues. Washington DC medical needs lots of improvement.
