CT teachers have threatened to use "disability or medical leave" because they are afraid. Fear is not basis for disability or medical leave, and it's insurance fraud. Teachers won't teach, fire them and hire someone who will.

No school no funding for school.

Interesting, but if laid off teachers still get unemployment. Maybe State Boards of Education think disorganizing structure of schools would be a nightmare that would have to be put back together again. Unions get off duff & push opening w/rational teacher input as teachers Want!

Union bosses have been, basically, gangsters since the Wagner Act was passed. They have the freedom to act in ways that a corporation never could or would. They are called syndicates for a reason.
