thats an accurate monument in the snow! Winter 1950/1951 was extreme cold 40 degrees below zero. Many lost some toes during the cold nights

My late grandfather served in the Korean War. He was from the Caribbean & said Korea was the coldest place he ever experienced. He always told me & my gma about how deathly cold it was.
