It’s disappointing tho that Bolton apparently only wrote about the Singapore summit and not Hanoi. Many blamed him at least in part for the collapse of those talks b/c of his hard-line stance.

Well I guess it’s a safe bet now who was behind the media reports at the time that Pompeo took a “Rocket Man” CD as a gift for KJU on his trip to North Korea! Interesting revelations in @nytimes & @washingtonpost accounts of Bolton’s book.

Bolton gives a “fly-on-the-wall account” of Singapore, saying Trump cared little for details and saw it merely as “an exercise in publicity,” per the Post. Many critics said the same thing at the time, but can't wait to read more details if the book makes it to the shelves!
