South Korea reports 26 new #covid19 cases including 4 imported cases and 22 local transmissions linked to the Itaewon clubs outbreak. That means that if it wasn’t for the cluster infection – well no point in dwelling on that.

Overall number of cases linked to Itaewon outbreak rose to 119 w/ increase in secondary infections of close contacts of infected club-goers. Total of 22,000 people tested. KCDC stresses people can be tested anonymously to encourage those who fear stigma to come forward.

“Many of you may believe that you are OK because you are young and healthy, and you are afraid to get tested because of prejudice in society, but our message is very clear," KCDC director said - secondary & tertiary infections can harm loved ones & society as a whole.
