This is madness.
Why is @CanadaDev sending homeopaths as foreign aid to Honduras? https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/federal-aid-homeopaths-honduras-1.5030384 … by @VikCBC cc @CaulfieldTim @DrJenGunter @picardonhealth @gorskon @SBMPediatrics @joeschwarcz @crackedscience

Doing nothing has no side effects and is highly effective in many situations. The problem with homeopathy is that it's doing nothing while claiming you're doing something. That's fraud and it's wrong. And if the patient has an illness that needs real treatment, it's dangerous.

Invented by one mad quack who also thought coffee caused all disease. Literally a belief in magic potions

No, the members of your family recovered from minor illnesses because that’s how the body works; it’s called having an immune system.

"Effective" homeopathy means you pay to make a cold go away in just 7 days, whereas if left untreated the cold can last a whole week! /s

By taking the homeopathic medicine as soon as I feel a cold or flu coming on, I usually don't get anything and the symptoms are gone in about 12 hours or so. Say what you will, we will continue to use these products. We really like Boiron and especially occillococonum.

The problem is all of which (cough, cold, motion sickness) are transitory symptoms (i.e. the body recovers by itself given enough time). You have no proof that homeopathy has assisted in any way.

Right, because colds and motion sickness never vary or go away on their own so obviously you couldn't be wrong about magic sugar pills.
