Pretending you care about someone just so you don't feel guilty is selfish of you. It's definitely not nice. Yet people do it.

Society tells them to be 'nice'. Laws tells them to be 'nice'. So in the end you have someone pretending they care about someone to be nice.

People are FAKE as shit, kids. You gotta understand that. They're fake as shit because since birth they're taught to be 'nice'.

This is the reason why bad news in journalism gets more ratings, more hits. No one cares if you saved a puppy. They care if you killed it.

Social media does not reward 'being nice'. People do not reward 'being nice'. They want shit to happen. They want bad things to happen.

That said, my moral 'compass' does try to tell me to be civil towards you. Just don't expect me to go out of my way to make you feel nice.

And a healthy fuck you if you call yourself my friend but don't show it. You guys know who you are. If you don't, I'll tag you happily.

So welcome back self-confidence. I don't really anyone else to make me feel better about myself.

And people have made it clear, they're not gonna be there for me so no point in trying to be nice to them. I'm over that.
