It would take a literal miracle to go from doctors discovering something that might not be the flu in October, to knowing exactly what the disease is and how it spreads by November. It would also take magic to know it was gonna become a deadly pandemic before anyone had died.

This is a brand new disease with a 2 week incubation period, and people are crying foul because China didn't know it was contagious 2 weeks after discovering it, but when they shut the province down less than a month after naming the disease, y'all called it authoritarian.

But guess which country broke quarantine to pull its citizens out of Wuhan? Whose politicians were briefed on the threat in January and sold stocks instead of helping people prepare? Which country's healthcare system was letting thousands of people die even before the pandemic?

And then there's another country that technically has a public healthcare system but whose politicians have been gutting it for decades. The prime minister was himself spreading covid-19 and made no preparations because he thought herd immunity was gonna come through. It didn't.

Now in both of these mystery countries people are dying and the hospitals are overwhelmed and underresourced, and the politicians who didn't do shit to prepare months ago are just now talking about doing more tests.

But their governments and media are putting in overtime making propaganda against China so people don't ask why they were unprepared not just in terms of how quickly politicians chose to act but systemically as well.

Why can't people get covid-19 tests? Idk, but China is lying. Why are there still people in prison when we should all be social distancing? Idk, but China should have warned us. Why are hospitals closing during a pandemic? Idk, but read this rfa article.
