    Great tip by Addy! In Polypane, use the Live CSS feature to quickly try this for all panes, or use the a11y.css or tota11y overlays to get a more complete overview of any issues.

    Using img:not([alt]) to highlight images missing alt text. You can also use Lighthouse or editor plugins to detect the same.

    This is something designers need to get over, just like how they got over designing everything in a pixel-based design tool.

    Figma's auto layout will help designers form mental models / muscle memory that will ease their transition into next gen tools like . Going from a freeform canvas to a more structured layout engine can feel quite limiting.

    The new design for Google's search result pages is out, so we're releasing updated previews in Polypane to match them. Google is still experimenting with the UI, and we'll make updates to our preview when Google does (for example, the favicon might disappear)

    Years ago I stopped reading newspapers/watching the news and consciously started consuming only news filtered through my social graph. Confirmation bias for sure, but glad to see that it's a good strategy in general :)

    People who consume news via social media may be getting more diverse views than they would offline, research shows (so perhaps filter bubbles are a myth)
