A punny, Dada-ish marriage of Winsor McCay, Yellow Submarine (the movie), the weirder bits of Monty Python, Lewis Carroll, and definitely a bunch of stuff I’m forgetting to mention. Also an actual marriage! Listen, LUDOCRATS is hard to describe, but absolutely worth picking up!

Oh hey! LUDOCRATS! I’ve read the first issue of this and it is weird and funny and meta and clever and populated by beautifully designed characters and did I mention it’s really fucking weird?!?

Earlier retweets: i'll be talking about this at length, I suspect, but The Ludocrats is coming, and it's glorious. It's been a while since Gillen and I directly collaborated the on anything, and this art team have been extraordinary. Extremely excited.

Book lovers, a debut author asked me to explain last night why pre-orders are so important and it struck me that authors *gently encourage folks to do this but maybe it's not always clear why so here is a little thread on why they matter so much so here is a little thread..

Damn it. I just read issue 1 from and Mike Huddleston (out from ) before sitting down to do some work. But it's SO DAMN GOOD I feel completely inadequate and must start from scratch. Seriously, people are gonna be blown away by this book.
