Great point. But what if our local bigs took it as a challenge instead of and excuse of them not being able to play? Just from a competitor’s pov.

Foreigners are different from “Filipino”. Of course, we’ll be proud if a Pinoy (whether pure or Fil-fors) do good in foreign leagues, as we were proud when you briefly played in D-League. Banning “imports” in NCAA means more opportunities for local bigs to play.

Itll just mean better league ang UA moving forward.. dont think Isaac Go would be as good if not for the Mbalas etc

Great example. 2 time undisputed mvp Big ben, IMHO, isaac go did very well against him. Numbers might not show it and i cant speak for Ben, but i think he had a hard time against Isaac.

If the league, including the teams/players, wanted to took it as a challenge & elevate the competition, why don’t NCAA or even UAAP allowed teams to “recruit” as many “foreign athletes” so not only the bigs are being challenged but all players as well.
