This isn't an especially fancy zine, both because I'm not feeling great and because I've never made one before, but thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who participated!

I’m too lazy to take another photo without a snapchat filter, but appreciate the real lesbian energy I’m offering with this haircut.

Hi, yes, since it's the I thought I'd share a list of books you can read that give an accurate view of Indigenous peoples because, well, we wrote them. Racist mascots aren't truth tellers. They stir up hate & discrimination. Read some books instead:

It's important to note that most universities do not require professors to receive training on the ADA, accommodations, or universal design for learning. Often, this negatively impacts students with disabilities.

Something I can’t discuss with my classmates is how I struggle in my classes because I sacrifice the time I could be working with them on homework for non-negotiable therapy sessions. We (humans) need to start talking openly about the work that goes into mental health management

I don't know what professor or TA needs to hear this but your strict attendance policy is ableist and also bad for public health

Last night, indigenous teenagers used their last home basketball game to make a statement about missing and murdered indigenous women. This is , who was featured in our issue and videos a couple years back.

I study teaching and learning in higher education. From all the research (and practice) I've done, I think what it comes down to is this: the most important thing for teaching is actually caring about the students and their learning.

CW: Really gross ableism Summary of this morning: I was using my wheels today—pain in my hip and POTS stuff. I had an appt. with my cardiologist. I was sitting in the waiting room & a guy strolls in and starts wishing everyone a great day. He is loud, but seems well-intentioned.

Students with diabetes use their phones to track their blood sugar. Students with epilepsy use their phones as medication alerts. Disabled students use touch-free tech and accessibility apps on phones to narrate events, read documents and handwriting. But go ahead, ban phones.

School perfect attendance awards are not only (because they penalize kids for being less healthy) they also directly jeopardize the safety of immunocompromised students and parents by encouraging kids to come to school sick.
