There is a bug .RPi4 doesn’t support USB type-c to type-c cable.
-
Oh, that's a bummer, does it has something to do with the ill-designed USB-C on the Pi?

Great writeup, clean instructions. I am getting issues with that the Pi boots, but accessing it from ssh on the iPad doesn't work. SSH can't resolve the hostname. Any ideas?
-
After you connect your iPad to the Pi, go to iPad's settings, you should be able to see a new menu called "Network". I believe it appears under Wifi. I don't have my iPad here atm so I can't be sure

Very cool. Wonder if arduino would work?
-
That'd be cool, but I don't think it'll be possible

For the ones with older iPad Pro : the lightning <=> usb + lightning (power) adaptateur do the job too ... if you add some power (it can be from a usb powerbank). I confirm :
@BlinkShell + mosh + tmux is a pleasure to use on iOS
-
oh I didn't know that it works with lightning port too, sadly it doesn't power the Pi
