In the Name of the Most High I sincerely thank the honorable #Paralympics caravan, which has brought joy to the Iranian nation once again with the medals that they have won.

We support the nation of #Afghanistan. Governments come & go. What remains is the Afghan nation. The nature of our relations with governments depends on the nature of their relations with us. May God bring the best situation for the nation of Afghanistan.

#Afghanistan is our brother country, with the same language, religion & culture. The source of Afghanistan’s crises is the US. During 20 years of occupation, they committed all sorts of atrocities - bombing weddings & mourning ceremonies, imprisonment & 10x more drug production.

The current US government is no different from the previous one. They demand the same things that Trump demanded. Behind the scenes of US foreign policy there lies a predatory wolf that sometimes changes into a cunning fox. Today’s situation in Afghanistan is an example of this.

Diplomacy should not be impacted by the nuclear issue. In the nuclear issue, the U.S. acted extremely shamelessly. They withdrew from the #JCPOA but talked as if Iran had withdrawn from it. They ridiculed the negotiations. The Europeans acted like the U.S., too.

Diplomatic dynamism should be intensified & economic aspects of diplomacy fortified in the new Administration. Foreign trade with neighboring countries & other nations should also be bolstered. Except for a couple of countries, friendly ties are possible with most countries.

A manifestation of being a people’s govt is going among the people to hear their problems directly, without intermediaries. Going to #Khuzestan yesterday was a very good, admirable move by Mr. Raisi. This is a manifestation of being a people’s govt.

Similar to previous Administrations, I say to the new Administration too that time passes by very fast. These 4 years will finish quickly. Use every moment of it. Don’t let this time, which belongs to the people and to Islam, be wasted.

God willing, with our dear people observing the guidelines, the pandemic will be less within 2 to 3 months. And God willing, vaccines will be abundantly available in a few months. By God’s grace, problems will decrease or be resolved.

In the first months of the Corona outbreak, the #Army and the #IRGC took very important measures and the Mobilized Forces (#Basij) had a strong presence. Now too, they must work as hard as they can to address this issue and to help the people.

The administration’s second duty concerns #CovidVaccine. Fortunately after production of the #IranianVaccine, some countries’ not carrying out their promise to sell vaccines to us has lessened. But, increased efforts should be made to both import & to produce vaccines internally.

The officials’ first duty is to be able to provide free #Covid19 diagnostic testing on a widespread basis for everyone. Both insurance companies and the administration must help with this.

Today, the other issue involving #Covid, is the exhaustion of the health workers. In this hot summer, facing such problems day & night brings pressure on them, physically & emotionally. Our thanks don’t really matter. The true thanks come from God Who is watching their efforts.

#COVID19 is the country’s number one problem today. This isn’t just in Iran, but almost everywhere in the world. Covid has an outbreak and then it passes on. The number infected and the fatalities are truly tragic. It breaks the heart of any human. #DecisiveMeasure
