Great albeit harrowing article. I think part of the reason people become less responsive to the plight of these refugees is that they don’t know what they can do to make a difference. That’s certainly how I feel.
This past June I traveled to Lebanon and Sicily w/@Refugees to meet with refugee families, some of whom had crossed the Mediterranean to flee violence and persecution.
