We’re all a bunch of dinguses but we’ve played this Curse of Strahd campaign almost every week for the last two and a half years (lots of extra homebrew in addition to CoS). All we have to do now is stake Strahd in the heart and it feels so weird that we’re almost done
Fortunately, our DM has the next act written out already and our characters’ adventures will continue.
In all this time we only had ONE party member killed. I’ve grown super fond of my Goliath Druid/Barb Grimhildr, I’m at the point that if I lost her I’d be devastated 
Anyways, D&D is great. You should play it. I love my party and the stories we’ve built with each other
