Question for folks who grew up speaking an accent but after moving around, their accent mostly disappeared. Due to quarantine, is your accent coming back? Most people I speak to via voice are from the NY/Northeast area and I can HEAR my accent returning in every day speech.
I said “potatas” instead of “potatoes” about 20 minutes ago and was like “oh god I sound like my dad from Wisconsin” ...so yes absolutely
