But, real talk: Getting to where I am wasn't easy, I've struggled with impostor syndrome and thinking I was never good enough, despite trying my hardest. Someone in my past once said to me "You don't seem passionate about your job as a producer". 2/

Despite me pouring my heart into my work, it seemed like that person never paid attention. I felt like garbage and cried for days. I felt like I had failed, and it stuck with me for years. I saw a therapist, and still am, because my anxiety and impostor syndrome got so bad. 3/

However, I slowly began to realize it wasn't me. For the first time ever, last year, I thought "I'm good at what I do". I hope that person realizes the lasting impact words can have. And the fact that they were so unbelievably wrong. They can politely go suck it. 4/
