Yep, I had the same feeling. It's a very ambitious tutorial/prologue, and all the quests are detailed and well-written enough that you don't think about it as "an intro". It's a massive game, and aside from the non-quest encounters, it's so full of proper content.

"That's just the tutorial map." TUTORIAL. MAP. I know I sound like a loon but think about it they made a big map area, with a lot of seperate quests and loot... and it's just the tutorial area. Haven't even scratched the surface yet. CD Projekt Red really outdid themselves.
