Journey actually requires quite a lot of dexterity with the game pad, depending on where she's at with that, she might struggle.
Also 2D vs 3D navigation is a big leap. I think Gris is a great first choice. The Return of the Obra Dinn is awesome because although you navigate in 3D, nothing moves apart from you, so there's no danger or stress. Second game my wife completed on her own (First was FFVII).
