I’d suggest speaking to your vet. I don’t know any details about your dog. Maybe he’s starting to get arthritis and you hit a sore spot? Maybe he’s just done with fashion accessories as a concept.
My vet told me to talk with a pet behavior expert to get a second opinion which I will, but it’s like his warning growl is gone and he just lunges now. It happens really frequently and for all different reasons.
I’m sorry. That has to be scary for everyone involved. Likely this includes your pup as well. I hope it all works out.
