I love them both, but as far as scary is concerned, Silent Hill takes the cake. Silent Hill 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. However I have yet to play RE7.

RE7 is the exception I think, it is WAYY different than the other games... and more terrifying

BLASPHEMY, although I do love both franchises very much. But I'm die hard Resi all the way. I will, however, admit to Silent Hill being the scarier franchise (aside from Resident Evil 7).
