As you may have seen, @Kotaku_UK is shutting down. I'm gutted tbh. Kotaku is special in the games media, and I know that because I've worked almost everywhere. Hey thanks for being so nice today, everyone. I'm feeling less sad about this now. Kotaku UK will be missed, and there's not enough UK-flavoured games journalism out there, but six years was a good run and the site clearly influenced and entertained a lot of people

You are the only person on Kotaku’s team that I personally enjoyed hearing from. I felt you didn’t try to drive narratives and more often than anybody on that team, you tried to report. You’ll find a new job soon. Please don’t let your next job change that. Bless you

Wondering on behalf of past contributors - is discontinuation likely to mean a loss of archived posts that never appeared on Kotaku US? I can imagine an SEO team redirecting/reposting only whatever still gets traffic or attracted links.
