    For those who are saying this is a 7-2 action by the Supreme Court, that’s wrong. All nine justices would reject the suit by Texas, the other states, and POTUS. Seven of them would refuse to hear the case at all. Two of them believe they have to hear it and would deny relief.

    The Trump campaign can keep filing cases forever. So what? What should have been clear to everyone a month ago sure ought to be clear to everyone now: IT'S OVER.

    The PENNSYLVANIA CASE is still alive (Mike Kelly/Sean Parnell Vs the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania) Georgia is unsettled. Michigan lawsuits not over. NOT OVER.

    Absurd that we have come to this. But another good reason for a constitutional amendment eliminating the human element of presidential electors in our presidential selection system

    Michigan's 16 presidential electors, set to cast votes for Joe Biden at the state Capitol on Monday, are being offered police escorts into the building, where protests are expected outside.

    Holy cow this list is growing, not shrinking. Will be interesting to see how many are willing to take the extra step of voicing objections to counting votes come January

    Today we filed w/ a technical correction to our amicus brief, to add these 20 Members who should have been listed yesterday. Total # of Members is now 126. Be assured ALL House Republicans are committed to doing all we can to ensure the integrity of our election system.

    The main thing Rs have taken away from from the Trump experience is that GOP voters want you to FIGHT, all fact, reason, good judgement, and likelihood of success aside. Indeed certitude of failure just makes it that much more imperative that you FIGHT!

    The slew of Kraken suits were at least arms length from the GOP, but now a significant number of GOP state attorneys general and federal House members have actively attached themselves to this terrible Texas suit. The party is not going to right itself anytime soon.

    State AGs have become an increasingly activist & partisan force in national politics, often w/ rather questionable legal theories. This is a particularly embarrassing extension of that trend (one can hope it is the nadir but that might be optimistic).

    Seventeen states filed a brief in the Supreme Court just now in support of Texas' request that the justices throw out the results of the presidential election in four other states that didn't support President Trump.
