    Did you know..? The Ginkgo biloba is one of the oldest living tree species in the world and it's known as a 'living fossil'. Fossils of Ginkgo leaves have been discovered that date back more than 200 million years. 🍂

    If you're wandering through the Palm House, keep an eye out for the large white, trumpet-shaped, Osa pulchra. These pendulous flowers gently hang down, giving you the perfect opportunity to stand directly underneath to get a closer look.

    Today we remember and honour the brave and the fallen who have lost their lives in conflict and war. Made from living plants, Kew's remembrance wreath is laid in the Temple of Arethusa where our war memorial plaque can be found.
