Would be awesome if you could make payments to different accounts directly from Mint. Hate having 25 different logins for each financial service I use.

Even if you taxed the “1%” at 100%, it would hardly make a dent in our nation’s spending. This seems less like of a way to help the poor, and more of a way to just take from the rich.

Say Bill gates needs to sell 1b worth of MSFT stock to cover his wealth tax liabilities. This would immediately drive down the price of MSFT stock, does his tax obligation change because he’s now less wealthy? Or does he need to sell 1.2b worth of stock to cover the 1b liability?

A wealth tax is such an insane idea. Imagine thinking these billionaires just have 100b in a bank account. You’re forcing them to liquidate assets in large quantities, which will without a doubt negatively disrupt markets.

The worst dark design pattern that exists is when an app removes the time at the top of your screen.

Recently was asked what ‘moat’ my startup had by a VC. I get that having an advantage that can’t be copied is huge, but today almost anything can be technically replicated. Did Slack really have a ‘moat’ when they started? Seems like they just built a product people loved.

Twitter has been so laggy recently that it’s frustrating to use. Surprised they don’t just roll back to the previous bug free version.

Funny dichotomy today: People think they deserve to be rich and famous. People aren’t willing to put themselves out there and risk embarrassment in front of people. You can’t have one without the other. Risk and reward and directly correlated.
