    I don't see it happening. It's a great free OS and there are many distros that offer value. But problematic for desktop replacement for most

    2) thorough, strongly determined and open frameworks to provide UI app developers with modern/standard SDKs (a la macOS's UIKit, etc)

    That's why W10 and macOS are still leaders over Linux. It has too many loose edges, too many choices, and not enough consistency.

    The problem with Linux as a desktop OS is that there are simply not enough strongly opinionated voices guiding it.

    Best undiscussed ability of the iOS 10.3 beta? App updates are FAST again. Not sure if it's an App Store fix or due to APFS. Very happy.
