NYC is a city of immigrants, and we will always welcome asylum seekers with open arms. Today, I joined colleagues in city government, asking for help from the federal government, so we can provide the housing and services that asylum seekers deserve.
BLA Caucus members, together with the Public Advocate's Office and immigration advocates, today called for state and federal funding to assist with the influx of asylum seekers into the City, and condemned the divisive "us vs. them" narrative.

Leaders: your team won’t remember you for your speeches, grand ideas or innovative strategies.
They’ll remember you for your availability, humility, encouragement, for making them better.

This weekend, we had the privilege to bless our son through Christ. Caleb’s christening was amazing, especially the fact that I personally got to do the anoint ritual due to Covid restrictions. i will never forget this moment.
I love you son! #Thedadgang
