For those curious about the internet economy – this vid got 15M views here, 28M on TikTok, 30M on an IG meme account. But I didn’t make a penny from any of it! Luckily I can back it up with production skills when brands come knocking. But lots of views basically means nothing.

Eye opening! But I understand you can make money from Youtube. I saw a news feature where a 6 year old kid makes 8 million dollars a year unboxing toys on Youtube!

Except Twitter has just added a “tip jar” so anyone can send money to individuals with no third party fees. The project is piloted with select accounts rn. Good (viral?) content can be monetized, at least here!
