    Penultimate Hill. Looking back from (almost the top of) Allermuir Hill over the southern Pentlands, including Scald Law, West Kip and East Kip I had climbed earlier in the day, among a couple of other hills not pictured.

    Almost 6 years since its release, and I still wouldn’t touch Apple Maps with a bargepole. I’m sure it’s perfectly fine now but I jumped ship to Google Maps too long ago to switch back.

    Poor stuff from last night. When the high point of the evening is the rousing rendition of ‘22 undefeated’ in the toilets at halftime (and throughout much of the game), you have to wonder where the disconnect in the team lies, because it just isn’t happening.

    Hey , can you explain to me why Siri on my very battered old iPhone 5 can hear me from across the room, yet my iPhone X struggles to hear me from 3m away. Have recalibrated twice and no joy.
