I've been a regular at Burning Man and this short video is the best summation I've seen of the event's energy.

This is cool but makes Burning Man look like a manic party. For me it's is three things:
1. Elemental encounter with Air, Earth, Fire & Water
2. Primal encounter with the Self
3. Group therapy session masquerading as a party in the desert
