I just saw the actual paper cover of the new issue of Wired with my lead story about the coming augmented reality Mirrorworld. The cover is brilliant. Let me know what you think about the article.https://www.wired.com/story/mirrorworld-ar-next-big-tech-platform/ …

The curtain is rising in McLuhan’s global theatre. Is it real, or is it fake? It’s both. Great article!

Reading slowly. Immediately thought of “the content of new media is old media”. Definitely a good call.

Fascinating. Read it online a while back. It is worth rereading.

Whoa “The Mirrorworld” Awesome article! I never thought of AR in this way, but it makes sense of course there will be a Mirrorworld. It reminds me of your Ted talk 5,000 days into the future prediction “All screens look into the One. No bits will live outside the Web.”

Been following/commenting your work for years. We noticed your use of the phrase “great work” to describe the mirrorworld. For those of us familiar with esoteric mystery schools, that phrase jumped out. Welcome to Mirror World! https://youtu.be/hqSUFO5kB2k

Would like to see follow up article spending more time expanding on the details of the problems alluded to in this one. The benefits here seem predicated on belief that digital data is always accurate, truthful, unbiased and not manipulated (or manipulating).

The ‘power to the people’ vision of the Internet and the Web was real but only temporarily realized. How will this new technology be any different?
