1/ = True story just happened = SF voters please believe this and take into consideration = 2 thieves drive a stolen car, dump all the belongings (look like tourists) outside our house = we call 911 (twice) and SF311 = 911 operator says ...
This is a city that is funding $60K per year per a tent for a homeless person and asking for more in the next budget = if that's deploying money appropriately to provide a real "cure", then I don't know what taxpayer funded stupidity even looks like.

Is that homeless person going to end up with a better life because of staying in that tent for years? And will the city spend $100K per year per tent if we defund the police? = We have $13B budget for 800K people (& 4K homeless) = how much more do you need by defunding police?

That still doesn’t sound like it’s being deployed correctly but I also have no idea what the budget should be. If crime goes up do we spend more to stop it? does it ever stop? Is it just burglars or do we prosecute corporate crime at the same rate even if the $$$ value is higher?

If we are talking about spending money to achieve results, we are on the same page. If we are talking about taking about budgeting for ideology, I am on a different page.
