    Big story which Sunday Times doesn’t make enough of. They say officials fear Cummings will say Johnson missed 5 key Covid meetings at start of crisis as was writing his Shakespeare biography to fund his divorce settlement. I’d heard same from non- Govt source but couldn’t prove.

    From my experience helping those who’ve heard this from their pastor: it’s disrespectful, hurtful BS that is used to mask the deeper problems of a religion terrified by sex. People move on because they see behind the mask. Don’t flatter yourself that problem is them, not you.

    From my experience as a pastor: often when people are reconsidering whether or not they’re still Christian, it’s usually because they want to sleep with somebody the Bible says they can’t.

    Not the most encouraging read for an unpublished middle-aged bloke writing literary fiction. But you just keep going, keep doing the very best work that you can and trust that it’s given a fair reading by an industry aiming at zero bias. Nothing to gain from any other approach.

    Regular, systematic destruction of municipal capacity in Palestinian territories. It’s deliberate, and designed to serve Israeli politics’ internal interests. Global courage and leadership needed to stop this cycle. Biden absolutely needs to step up.
