I was supposed to send out my newsletter once a month and have failed miserably! I've struggled for inspiration tbh... So I'm wondering - does anyone have any burning questions about publishing, writing, or editing they'd like answered? I'm all ears...

The work of translators often flies under the radar in publishing, which is a travesty as it's a real art! Jennifer has done such a beautiful job on bringing Chen Jiatong's bestselling middle-grade saga to the English-speaking world. ❤️🦊

Meet my current favourite children's book. can't put a foot wrong, IMHO, and this Tudor tale is utterly compelling. Voice, suspense, intrigue, villains, stakes... A masterclass.

Okay, I'm a Psychologist with a PGCE and I dont understand why masks in school are an issue (unless of course someone needs to lip read or process the whole face, in which case, clear masks.) Deadly virus, mutations and long covid, now they really will batter your education!

Was having this same discussion with just last week and she rightfully pointed out: HOW YOU DO YOU THINK YOUR ADULT READERS BECAME READERS ⁉️⁉️

Finished 👏🏽what a brilliant read -The Terminator meets Harry Potter (with a side order of The Jetsons) - it would make a wonderful film or animation. My son finished it in a day (this in itself can only be down to sorcery 😂)
