They’ve been telling me to “wait two weeks” since this thing started. At least you’ve extended it to 2 months.

New Jersey is a much smaller state. More residents living extremely closely together where the virus can be spread easily.

Thanks Phil for standing up for GA. We’re managing ok. Hit a new low on the 7-day avg. in daily deaths today that hasn’t been seen since March 26th, almost 4 months ago.

As if either case
#s or deaths are the definitive way to look at this. Thankfully deaths are lower (GA residents benefit from NE states lessons on how to treat It) but this illness and lasting effects can be severe and the economic repercussions of high case loads certainly are.

Georgia had almost 4,000 new cases today. New Jersey had 50. Yes, NJ and NY got hit hard early, before any of us grasped the enormity of the threat or how to deal with it. They paid a heavy price. We had the chance to learn from their lessons and decided, naaah.

The lesson was lockdowns don't work.
