    When we adopted Ali in 2012, I had never had a dog & didn't know what to expect. It wasn't long before I couldn't imagine life without her & her unconditional affection. Last night, we said goodbye & today we are struggling to fill the void with memories of our time together.

    There are several legal provisions lobbyists cite when they register foreign clients under domestic lobbying laws, rather than FARA. But it's notable for TONY PODESTA to go this route now, given: 1) Huawei's links to the Chinese gov't. 2) a FARA probe crushed his lobbying firm.

    NEW: TONY PODESTA registers to lobby for the Bulgarian energy company PROTOS & the Chinese tech giant HUAWEI. In the case of Huawei, his client is a US subsidiary. He filed domestic, rather than foreign, lobbying filings for both

    Prosecutors & reporters had access to emails detailing 's work for the UAE. But the indictment & media coverage of him did not allege the UAE paid him $100m+ to lobby against/smear Qatar. So I am a skeptical about the claims in this suit.
