    Over the last year, many of my White pastor siblings are discouraged and heart broken over people leaving their church because they are preaching more on how the gospel overcomes the sins of racism and systemic injustice. Stay in the fight pastors. Keep telling the truth.

    The older I get, the more I handle the Sacred Text, the more I see the Cross where the Beloved Son gave himself for us, the more I see it therapeutically and not judicially. It doesn't mean there is no judicial element, however, the predominant theme is is beyond question: LOVE!

    You can build a justice movement around the energy of hate. This is easily understood and there’s nothing particular new about it. What Jesus does is build a justice movement (he called it the kingdom of God) around the energy of love—love for God, neighbor, and even enemy.
