Feds brought all the receipts on the Proud Boys conspiracy indictments, down to content of "encrypted" comms, which seems to be a mix of specialty radios and messaging apps (not Signal, by my read). The radios are bottom of the barrel ham radios that cost about $20 on Amazon. I suspect the idiots using them probably didn’t have the correct licenses to do so on whatever frequency/power they chose and could probably have further charges added for that if the prosecution wanted
