Quick Tip: If you stencil lots of PCBs at home, use a custom PCB as a jig, also remember you can add alignment holes to your stencil ;) (make the cutout 0.1mm bigger than your board outline and don’t forget finger holes to remove when pasted!)

A few years ago, I crowdfunded and published "The Essential Guide to Shenzhen". It's now out of stock, so I've decided to share the PDF. Thank you to all my supporters who made this possible!

Restoration of 1969 analog computer update: powered it up and used an op amp to multiply by 10. Input: .7V on potentiometer, output 7V. It is programmed by plugging patch cables into the patch panel. Next step integration, but will need more patch cables.

The analog computer is a mini-fridge sized box. It has a patch panel on the front for programming, as well as potentiometers and a meter.
A closeup of the patch panel. Yellow wires are plugged into the panel to control it.
The meter of the analog computer shows 0.7V, while a multimeter shows 7.00 volts.
One of the modules from the analog computer. It has a bunch of circuit boards, as well as gold-plated fingers on the front to connect with the patch cords.

Something I taught my 7 yo on the way to school: Don't underestimate how many people you can help. One person can help thousands of other people.

This is a word-for-word conversation I had at Thanksgiving dinner: Niece: You look really old. Me: Yeah, well, I'm 42 and you're 7. Niece: And you're weird. Me: Why? Niece: Because you don't have a wife! Me: Holy fuck!

With 5.99 full flexes are easy now (don't forget to switch hatched fills to smoothed polygons though). The nightly build forced me to fill a dozen of PRs, but guys were blazing fast. Super cool!

At Interceptor 002 in Malaysia. Insane to see all the stuff that’s being taken out. Handbags, helmets + countless bottles and garbage bags... all of which now won’t be entering the ocean.

/me bangs head on table reading "IoT" security standards that assume everything is a phone, with a lock screen, where a user installs 3rd-party apps, and needs a password manager. Bare metal microcontroller-based sensors anyone? 🤦‍♂️
