My mom hated Trump, but she valued being a Republican. She marched against trump, but believed her party would one day come out from under the ether and realize he was a fraud. Today she changed her party affiliation to democrat. Please give my mom a warm welcome.

Young people: do not underestimate your power. You will transform this country if you turn out to vote.

Me: Jared Kushner, for his Palestine plan, read "25 books? Yeah right? What kind of books? Colouring books? Comic books?" Also me: "Anti-Palestinian racism is one of the last acceptable forms of racism in" Washington DC. I was on w/ on Sunday - do watch/share:

I saw in-person Biden miss viability at two caucus locations, and there are many credible reports of him either missing or barely making viability. There is no doubt tonight was a disaster for Biden. Throwing doubt on the result pulls from Trump's playbook and needs to stop

Insofar as the delay blunts the impact of the results, Biden is dodging a bullet. In my precinct, in a room of 800 committed Democrats, he barely broke 5%, barely better than Yang, half as well as the Mayor of South Bend, IN, and got nothing. Abysmal. I think he's toast.

It's just impossible to overstate the utter lack of enthusiasm for the guy. His polling lead is an electability bubble. As soon as everybody stops thinking that everybody else thinks he's most electable, he's done.

Just to touch on a point here: There wasn't chaos at the caucuses I watched. People picked their candidates, and the caucus chairs logged their support on paper. The issue is getting those numbers to the party. In other words: somebody has already won, we just don't know it yet.

Before he joined the Trump administration, Mark Esper was weapons manufacturer Raytheon's top lobbyist. As Defense Secretary, he pushed the targeted killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani. The next day, Raytheon's stock closed at an all-time high.

It’s under discussion for 2 reasons: 1) Americans have long been trained to believe only the Bad Countries, not the US, has “oligarchs” (and thus it’s been taboo to say it in US media); 2) Bernie haters may have to rely on Bloomberg, so don’t want that label applied to him:

Iowa caucus incredibly undemocratic: -No absentee voting or secret ballot -1000s with disabilities can’t participate -40,000 with past felony convictions barred from voting -Rural counties get more delegates than urban ones This is not good way to choose party nominee

Bloomberg is worth $56 billion more than Oleg Deripaska, whom you labeled an oligarch. Do you believe words have definitions?

Bloomberg is an oligarch. He is a billionaire media magnate who extended his NYC mayorship to a 3rd term & is now spending hundreds of millions of dollars to buy his way to relevancy in the presidential election, disrupting local grassroots organizing in the process. 1/

He’s the 9th richest person in the world. He was the mayor of a city bigger than 38 states. He’s maybe the largest political donor in the world. He’s running for president. In what universe is this person not an oligarch?

Are we really having a debate over whether Michael "I just purchased my way into the Primaries" Bloomberg is an oligarch?! Nina Turner, please educate these people.

If Bloomberg is not an oligarch then there are no oligarchs.

Also, the president is an oligarch. The people he cut taxes for are oligarchs. And if you don’t realize we’re in an oligarchy, it may be because you’re getting oligarched while thinking you’re in charge.
