The fans have always been and will always be integral to Liverpool Football Club. In so many ways they are the Club. I am relieved to know that the Club has listened to them.

The thoughts of Marina and myself are with the Devine family, especially his magnificent parents who gave him such incredible care.

Marina and my heartfelt sympathies are with Walter’s wife Ethel & his boys. Though we were on opposing sides on the pitch, he was a real footballing friend off of it. He was respected by all and one of the few able to transcend rivalries. Today we have lost a truly great man. RIP
Tonight, I’ll be raising a glass to Shane Warne in memory of time we have spent together. 52 years of age is nothing at all. Today we have lost an iconic figure of cricket. His family and close friends are very much in our thoughts. RIP.
So many fantastic memories from Melwood. Sad to see that will no longer be training there, but the history and tradition will be forever etched in our minds. The new facility looks unbelievable - fingers crossed it brings the same success to our Club.

It is with huge disappointment that Liverpool Football Club notes the latest developments in the judicial process relating to the Hillsborough disaster.
The 96 will never be forgotten.
How could I forget the brilliant ‘s immaculate display at centre back today? 🙈 He has been a brilliant player for this season. 🙌

Marina & I are both very saddened by the passing of David Moores. He was a loyal Liverpool fan whose dream came true when he was appointed Chairman, & he did a tremendous amount to help the Club. Our condolences go to his family. He’ll be greatly missed by all who knew him. RIP
