Congratulations to Jürgen and the players on an incredible season. You have made us all very proud. The connection between manager, players and fans is special and long may it continue. This is just the beginning. Can’t wait for the party when things go back to normal.

The Liverpool fans are special. The way they were treated by authorities was an absolute joke. Nobody should ever be afraid to go to a football game. Thank you to everyone who came to Paris. The Fan Park was unbelievable. I hope you all get home safe. What a season! YNWA

Today we have lost a true legend. Clem was a fantastic teammate and great to be around. I will never forget how he helped me to settle in at Anfield. Our thoughts are with the Clemence family. RIP Clem

Very sad news about Gerard Houllier. He was a gentleman and a great footballing person; I enjoyed his company many times. His legacy at LFC will forever be appreciated, respected and never forgotten. Marina and I offer our sincere condolences to his family. RIP Gerard. YNWA

Today, as always, our thoughts are with everyone who has suffered since 15 April 1989, and everyone who is still suffering now. We remember those who went to a football match and never came home. We honour those who survived and are an example to us all. You’ll never walk alone.

What a great effort from a very young team tonight. They represented themselves and the Club very well. Fantastic support from our fans to encourage them. A memorable night for players, staff, and fans, despite the score line.

Marina and my heartfelt sympathies are with Walter’s wife Ethel & his boys. Though we were on opposing sides on the pitch, he was a real footballing friend off of it. He was respected by all and one of the few able to transcend rivalries. Today we have lost a truly great man. RIP

Tonight, I’ll be raising a glass to Shane Warne in memory of time we have spent together. 52 years of age is nothing at all. Today we have lost an iconic figure of cricket. His family and close friends are very much in our thoughts. RIP.

So many fantastic memories from Melwood. Sad to see that will no longer be training there, but the history and tradition will be forever etched in our minds. The new facility looks unbelievable - fingers crossed it brings the same success to our Club.

A fantastic achievement for and great to be in the stands to watch the goal go in. The first time I’ve taken my grandson to an away game - thank you for making it a memorable one! Delighted to hand over the baton and I hope it brings even more success! YNWA

This is a start, but there is still a long way to go. This apology does’t cover the false message about the late kick off, events at the fan park, or what happened in the aftermath. If you haven’t already, please make sure to share your story on the LFC Forum & with Phil Scraton

Marina & I are both very saddened by the passing of David Moores. He was a loyal Liverpool fan whose dream came true when he was appointed Chairman, & he did a tremendous amount to help the Club. Our condolences go to his family. He’ll be greatly missed by all who knew him. RIP

“Respect costs nothing and goes both ways.” Brilliantly put. I hope everybody at Anfield can respect these wishes tonight. KD

Everyone attending tonight’s match, please show respect and observe the minutes silence. You probably think that any backlash won’t affect you but it will affect us and family members with the increase in abuse over Hillsborough. Respect costs nothing and that goes both ways 🔥

Peter Robinson was the focal point in the development of Liverpool FC. He made decisions that shaped the Club and we simply wouldn’t have enjoyed as many successes without his massive influence. PBR - Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, you’ll be sorely missed. Kenny

Eric Farrington, who had been a big Red since the early 1950’s, sadly passed away last month. Before he passed, his favourite player @kennethdalglish surprised him and he got to take in one last trip to Anfield with help from @NIVEAMENUK and The Anfield Wrap ❤️
