Some of the time lapse sequences in Seven Worlds took approx. 6 hours for each 15 seconds of footage. Lots of long cold nights. The lack of light pollution made for some spectacular scenes.

Wonderful to see the sub-Antarctic island of so featured on on last night. It's a really unique, highly biodiverse and important place for many birds, mammals and marine life and a privilege to study there

Where are the whales? Almost no were seen in the entire Western Indian Ocean this year, a stark contrast to previous years. The Consortium of researchers want to know why. Please share your stories. . .

Watch this clip! My friend and colleague Darryl MacDonald filmed it while we were in South Georgia. And David Attenborough narrated it! See, Darryl, dreams really do come true!!!

Amazing to watch on tonight & to see the southern right whale story featured! The current recovery level of these whales is unknown & we don't yet know how low their numbers got; our project aims to answer this..

I am so stoked to see this series, and I’m so proud of Darryl MacDonald (Clear Blue Photo) who collected some of this incredible footage while we were in South Georgia trying to tag whales!

This is an amazing data interface that will 1) be a fun time-sink, and 2) make you question your life-choices about not being a bioacoustician!
