Shout out to the writers who are writing and grinding, with no regard for what is cute or vogue or marketable, and with no regard for the prestige and awarding industrial complex. Shout out to the writers who are writing because it is soul tending to write.

I decided that this year, every day, I would knit a row on a scarf to mark the corresponding daily temperature/weather of my town. It felt like a good way to engage with the changing climate and with the changing year. A way to notice and not look away. Here's January then.

You are a revolutionary ❤️✊🏽💜: “Ultimately, the controversy has far less to do with this little pulguita of a book...This is about something much bigger. This is about revolutionizing the publishing industry all the way.”
