We’ve chosen a specific economic strategy which involves operating as a tax black hole for multinationals. If we didn’t have that strategy, we would have a different strategy. We don’t know what that would look like because we’ve never looked at an alternative.

In the conversation on multinationals, the one thing that really annoys me is the idea that somehow all of these multi-talented Irish people who work in Apple, Google, Intel etc would otherwise be on the dole or something
