Takeaway 1: The problem with data-driven differential pricing is that it's hard to prove due to code black boxes. In all three examples given in this article, platforms had excuses for why this happened, some likely valid, others not so much. 2/3

Takeaway 2: Chinese regulators have indicated they'll be trying to put a stop to this, but that's easier said than done. To do so, you need a robust technical team capable of this type of investigation. 3/3
