Same circumstance and the details of that instance show it was political, they locked him in a room and berated him

The tweet in question that got my boy suspended was a direct reply to Kyle.

And did they see it and immediately suspend him or did they speak with him, you, etc. and ask for it to be taken down?

He didn't know he was suspended until I got a call from the principal after school. He was not asked about it at all.

If this is truly how it happened and they didn’t even talk to him or you prior, I’m sorry your son and you have to deal with that. That is unfair if it is how it went down. No reason not to attempt to have a dialogue first or voice concerns at the very least.

I am willing to bet talking to your son will give you infinitely more clarity on why he was suspended than ranting on Twitter will.

Oh so ranting on twitter about it was plan B. My mistake. Please, by all means, continue complaining about publicly thrusting your son into the assault weapons debate.

A rational person might say....the Principal suspending someone for doing some perfectly legal, under adult superivision, on his own time, might be thrusting him into the “assault” weapon discussion...........

Another person might say “hey, maaaaaaybe there was more to it than just a picture.”

And he just told you that there isn't.

Wow. Just wow. So his dad taking him out to shoot at a range and teaching him how to hamdle a gun safely is a warning sign hes gonna shoot up a school?

This is not a red flag, you nut. It's a father and a son at a supervised indoor shooting range. The father posted the photo. This is as American as it gets.
