    3/ Brand marketing entirely falls apart after a purchase, which is one of the most important times to get marketing right. E.g. I finally bought a couch from West Elm - after looking at every couch on West Elm + the internet. Why is West Elm still emailing me to buy a couch?

    2/ Anything that brings people into a physical space should be maximized I would bet that RTR in NYC gets more, consistent, foot traffic then most apparel stores Turn that traffic into a community (book clubs, fashion learning sessions, mani nights) and they'll never leave

    1.5/ Basically, digital should be making word of mouth more efficient – if I'm already texting friends every few days with pics and reviews of things, brands can take that and turn it into affiliate (that's by the way, more trackable)

    1/ The Glossier "everyone is an influencer" model should be applied to so many more categories. E.g. Meal kits – Friends asking for what I eat + ratings RTR - Friends ask what I've rented and how it looked I should have a page to showcase my picks, reviews + get signups
