    Their "apology" says they will respect gender neutral pronouns "in location descriptions," which seems awfully specific. Why not in the whole bio? And what about characters that are written to use those same pronouns? Will those stories be summarily rejected?

    I wrote, submitted, & workshopped a novelette called Old Souls. It sold 2+ yrs later and became a finalist for the Aurora Award and the World Fantasy Award. I kept subbing that thing only because my instructors told me it was publishable.
